A coded phrase using the NATO phonetic alphabet that has emerged as a euphemistic political statement. The phrase represents a creative application of standardized communication codes for political expression, especially dissent.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
-- Theodore Roosevelt

F(uck) D(onald) T(rump), or FDT, has become Foxtrot Delta Tango as a way to express dissatisfaction with America's current president in a way to avoid certain algorithms that may or may not exist to censor or track those who use it, for now anyways. I haven't been able to find references of its use prior to 2025, but it is currently quite the popular sentiment on social media and sometimes with the accompanying phrase, Charlie Uniform November Tango.
